Shielded power strips and cables are useful!

Why is shielding against electrical and magnetic fields useful? Danell, a manufacturer of shielded cables, sockets, and lighting systems, answers this question as follows:

• Artificially generated electric and magnetic fields are becoming increasingly important. The use of electrical and electronic devices in our homes and workplaces is constantly increasing.
